beta xi says welcome!

Dear Potential New Member,

I could not be more thrilled to welcome you to our site and to allow you a small glimpse into Delta Zeta at Auburn University. We are very excited for the opportunity to meet you soon! This is an exciting time and transition, and it is important to find women who support and challenge you to be the best you can be.

When going through recruitment, I did not know that I would find such love and a home away from home. Delta Zeta is genuine, loving and rewarding. We strive to grow the strengthens of our members and carry out what our founders set academically, philanthropically, and sisterly. I have made lifelong friendships and memories, and it has truly been the best decision I have made.

Delta Zeta strives to continue to recruit members who embody our motto, “that I may walk truly in the light of the flame,” and we look forward to finding our future sisters who live out this motto each and every day. Delta Zeta accepts you for who you are, because nothing is better than you! The group of women I serve are diverse, genuine, and loving, and I hope you see that on our website! Please take more time to explore our site to learn more about our outstanding members, values, involvement, and chapter!

In Sisterly Love and Friendship,

Sara Smith, Chapter President

Delta zeta FUN FACTS

Delta Zeta was founded at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio on October 24, 1902. When Alfa Lloyd, Mary Collins, Anna Keen, Julia Bishop, Mabelle Minton and Anne Simmons came together in 1902 to form a social sorority, they had a vision of lifetime sisterhood. That vision has evolved to a nation of 220,000 alumnae and collegiate members. Check out these quick facts about Delta Zeta!
